Oma Town is only 90 minutes away from Hakodate City on the ferry Daikanmaru. The ferry terminal is Oma’s front door when you come by sea, where you will be greeted by the huge tuna model inside the terminal when you arrive. You may also encounter the town publicity group greeting and sending off tourists, waving hello and goodbye with some of the fishermen’s big catch flags.
